Keeping the keyword in mind for any particular degree, plus the nature of the Name of God with its corresponding angel can be of great help in understanding the energy of it. These five words were first used in Marc Jones book, “The Sabian Symbols” to designate a cycle of five degrees that repeats itself through the whole zodiac.
Of the 5 degrees that follow each one of these names, the first degree is EXPERIMENTAL in nature (degrees 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, and 26 of each sign), the next one SENSITIVE (degrees 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, and 27 of each sign), the third RECEPTIVE (degrees 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, and 28 of each sign), the fourth RESPONSIBLE (degrees 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, and 29 of each sign), and the 5th INSPIRED (degrees 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 of each sign). The name of the angel corresponding to that Name of God follows after that, with the manner of pronouncing it, and its general meaning. It is meant to enhance, expand, and support other degree symbols currently in use.Įach set of 5 degrees is preceded by one of the Kabbalistic 72 Names of God, with the Hebrew letters of that name in brackets.
